1. Contractual Agreement

By accessing and using www.quiznights.co.za, www.quizapp.co.za, or the QuizApp mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These platforms are operated in South Africa by Quiz Nights SA under license from QuizApp Ltd (United Kingdom). If you do not agree, you must cease use of our services immediately.

2. Intellectual Property (IP) Protection

• Ownership: All content included on these platforms—including but not limited to quiz questions, scoring algorithms, software, graphics, logos, and button icons—is the exclusive property of QuizApp Ltd or its licensors and is protected by international copyright laws.

• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access our content for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

• Prohibitions: You are strictly prohibited from modifying, publishing, transmitting, participating in the transfer or sale of, or reproducing any of our content, in whole or in part, without prior written consent.

3. Geographic Limitation & Prizes

• Territory: All competitions, leaderboards, and prizes are strictly limited to the Republic of South Africa.

• Redemption: Prizes can only be won and redeemed by participants physically present at an authorized venue within South Africa during a live event.

• No Export: Quiz Nights SA does not facilitate the shipping, transfer, or redemption of prizes to any location outside of South Africa.

4. User Conduct & Security

• Account Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and for all activities that occur under their profile.

• Prohibited Use: You may not use the site or app in any manner that could damage, disable, or overburden the technical infrastructure managed by QuizApp Ltd.

• Cheating: Any attempt to manipulate the "Single Point" leaderboard or the 10-second bonus window via technical means is a breach of these terms and will result in an immediate IP ban.

5. Limitation of Liability

• "As Is" Basis: The website and app are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

• Technical Failures: Neither Quiz Nights SA nor QuizApp Ltd are liable for any loss arising from technical malfunctions, internet outages, or the accuracy of quiz content.

• Third-Party Links: We are not responsible for the conduct or content of third-party websites linked to our platforms.

6. Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate your access to our platforms and the related services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
